The unity heart is a symbol of love and joy. This
heart is proudly strutting
through the 125th Street BID,
reflecting the resilience of the
Harlem community as it
strives for peace and unity.

Unity & Peace

Unity, the sum of the parts,

Coming together functioning as one,

Sharing one breath, one love.

Unity, every human being.

Sacrificing the self.

For the greater good of Humanity.

Unity, walking hand in hand in solidarity,

Committed to a common cause.

Never relenting to negativity.

Unity, one pulse, one heartbeat.

Unity, it is not about the I, it is about the we,

Spreading light even on those who refuse to see,

Spreading light of positivity,

Even upon our enemies,

So come on let’s walk the walk,

Not just talk the talk,

Fighting for justice, equality, and equity.

Unity, unity begins with you and me.

“Unity, One Harlem, One Community, One Country!”
